Hi, I’m Denise Williams, and I can tell you, first and foremost, I love transforming lives!
My family is from Belize which is a country in Central America. I, however, was born in the U.S., and raised in beautiful Southern California. I have worked in several industries, including retail, banking, staffing, and the SaaS industry!
I have had a very successful career working for two of the largest staffing firms in the world. With these firms, I was a top producer, oversaw three markets, and was an advocate for the candidates and clients I served. My positions have equipped me to successfully provide best practices to client companies and job seekers when it comes to their job search and hiring. The job market, technology practices and resources, and strategic hiring strategies are all three ever evolving, and you must be proactive every step of the way.
With over 15 years in the full cycle recruiting realm and well over seven years of leadership experience, I have had the opportunity to partner with great people, finding them amazing careers. Moreover, I have developed wonderful relationships with growing start-ups to emerging growth companies to large, publicly traded corporations. I love to strategize, implement, collaborate, consult, and provide solutions.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, as well as a Master’s in Public Administration from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills. Additionally, I am a Certified Résumé Writer and member of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches.
I am passionate about helping others. Consequently, DENISE KNOWS BEST is a centralized repository of resources to help job seekers looking for employment, offers résumé writing and interviewing tips, and much more.
I am grateful to state I am a breast cancer survivor, have a beautiful family, love to travel, write, shop, and create memories! I know what I am passionate about, and I am making it a priority to live out my purpose. We all work long hours giving to others or doing for others. We have one life and the decisions we make determine our quality of life. If you are not happy in your career, change it!
My mottos are, “Be Kind” and “Kill with Kindness”. You never know what one is going through and if you can be that bright light in that very moment to someone who may be having a bad day, shine bright like a diamond!
As Helen Barry quoted, “Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person.”
